Jacpol Antique Wax

A traditional antique furniture wax polish for the renovation and upkeep of wooden antique furniture. These products are not intended for use as a protective film on an un-lacquered surface.

Available in light, medium or dark shades. Care must be taken to select the correct colour, as it must match the colour of the item being waxed.

Jacpol is a blend of beeswax with selected natural and synthetic waxes dissolved in white spirit. Formulated specifically for application to pre-lacquered and antique substrates to enhance the natural beauty of the furniture.

Application

1. Apply Jacpol sparingly to lacquered surfaces with a soft lint-free cloth
2. Rub Jacpol with the grain to remove slight imperfections such as minor scratches and dust
3. After 15 minutes, polish with a soft dry lint-free cloth

Optimum application is achieved between 18°C and 22°C with good air movement and ventilation.

Maintenance

Build up of discoloured wax over time can be removed by lightly washing with white spirit. Finished products should not be subjected to temperatures below 2°C.

Storage

Product should be stored above 5°C and protected from frost. Storage temperatures above 25°C may lead to softening and loss of consistency.
