/320 Morrells Italian Waterborne Lacquers

A range of clear one-pack or two-pack high performance waterborne lacquers.

This product range can be used as the supplied single-pack and sprayed coat-on-coat or over Morrells Italian Waterborne Basecoat 8I004/430. They can also be catalysed to a two-pack system for greater physical and chemical resistance.

Clear Basecoat - use like a primer to prepare the timber for finishing. These basecoats sand more easily than the /320 coat-on-coat system. Suitable for use on internal furniture, fittings, profiles and more.

• 8I004/350 - Clear Italian waterborne basecoat
• 8I004/430 - Clear high-build Italian waterborne basecoat

Catalysis - (optional) catalyse to increase physical and chemical resistance

• 8ICAT/500 - requires thorough mixing with a mechanical stirrer but gives the best physical and chemical resistance properties
• 8ICAT/508 - can be thoroughly mixed manually, but provides slightly lower levels of resistance

• Pack Size: 4.25kg & 21.25kg
• Catalysis (if applicable): 10 parts lacquer : 1 part catalyst
• Pot life (if applicable): 4 hours @ 20°C
• Touch Dry: 60 - 90 minutes @ 18°C
• Sandable: 2 hours @ 18°C
• Recoatable: 2 hours @ 18°C
• Packing: Overnight minimum
• Coverage: 40m² per 5 litres dependent upon the size, orientation and surface quality of the item being coated
• Typical finish (/320 Lacquer): 1-2 coats at 80-130g/m2 per coat, coat-on-coat
• Typical finish (/350 Basecoat): 1-2 coats at 50-150g/m2
• Typical finish (/430 Basecoat): 1-2 coats at 100-200g/m2
