/600 & /619 Acid-Catalyst White MDF Primers

A quick drying, low-odour, high build white, grey or black Acid-Catalyst Primer compatible with MDF and other wooden substrates. Designed for spray application, this Primer offers excellent sanding properties and provides a suitable surface for subsequent overcoating with Morrells Acid-Catalyst lacquers.

The VOC content of this product meets the requirements of the Secretary of States Guidance Note for Wood Coating Processes PG6/33(11) Appendix 2.

• Catalysis: 9 parts lacquer : 1 part catalyst by volume
• Pot life: 36 hours
• Thinning /600: Ready for Use
• Thinning /619: Maximum 5% by volume
• Touch dry: 45 minutes @ 18°C
• Sandable: 1 hour @ 18°C
• Recoatable: 2 hours @ 18°C
• Packing: Overnight minimum
• Coverage: 40m² per 5 litres dependent upon the size, orientation and surface quality of the item being coated
• Typical finish: 1 - 2 coats at 95/m² per coat under Morrells White Acid-Catalyst Topcoat or Fastmatch® Acid-Catalsyt Colours
